Jack Waas Creative Publishing is the data controller under the GDPR for the personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we process

We only process personal data that you provide yourself, or that is technically necessary to make the website function:

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
• Appointment request: name, email address, phone number, your chosen day(s) and time(s), and any additional notes.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our cookie policy for a full overview.
• Technical data: IP address and device data, only insofar as necessary for the security and operation of the website, or — with your consent — for anonymised website statistics.

4. Retention periods

We do not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

• Messages submitted via the contact form: a maximum of 2 years after the last contact, unless a longer retention period is legally required.
• Appointment requests: a maximum of 2 years after the appointment, unless a longer retention period is legally required.
• Analytics data: in line with the standard retention period of the analytics service used (see our cookie policy).

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with:

• Our hosting provider, to keep the website technically operational.
• The service that processes and forwards contact form and appointment request submissions to our email address.
• Google (Google Analytics), only if you have given consent via the cookie banner, with IP anonymisation enabled.

Where required under the GDPR, we enter into a data processing agreement with processors who handle personal data on our behalf.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Some of the service providers we use (such as Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases we ensure an adequate level of protection is guaranteed, for example through the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right of access
• The right to rectification (correction)
• The right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten")
• The right to restriction of processing
• The right to object
• The right to data portability
• The right to withdraw previously given consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal

You can submit a request via contact@jackwaas.nl. We will respond within the statutory period of one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss or unlawful processing, including a secure (HTTPS) connection and restricted access to collected data.
